Cuscino allattamento / Nursing pillow

E' da un po' che pensavo di prendere il cuscino allattamento, ma guardando i prezzi nei negozi e su internet mi e' passata la voglia. Il prezzo medio e' 60 euro e non credo ne valga la pena spendere una somma cosi' alta per un semplice cuscino. Cosi' facendo la mia ricerca su internet ho trovato il cartamodello e istruzione sul blog pane amore e creativita' . Grazie alle abili mani di mia mamma lo abbiamo creato con cio' che gia' avevamo in casa, vecchio lenzuolo, uno scampolo di tela in cotone, un cuscino inuttilizzato. Non avendo la macchina da cucire qui mamma lo ha cucito tutto a mano e devo dire che ha fatto un ottimo lavoro!! Ora non ci resta che aspettare che Chloe arrivi per poterlo provare :-)

I was thinking to get the nursing pillow, but looking at prices in the shops and on internet I changed my mind, the average price was 60 euros and I tought it wasn't warted to spend that amount of money for a pillow. Luckily I keep searching on the web I found the papermodel and the instructions on the blog pane amore e creativita' . Thanks to my mum ability we made it with what we had at home: an old bed sheet, a piece of fabric in cotton and an old pillow. My mum sewed it all by hands and she made an excellent job!! Now we just have to wait for our little one to come and try it :-)

baby monitor

Ieri ci e' arrivato il baby monitor Philips AVENT SCD520 DECT Baby Monitor with Temperature Sensor regalo della nonna Kay. E' bellissimo, ha 5 ninne nanne da scegliere, la luce notturna, dice la temperatura della stanza e possiamo parlare alla bimba attraverso il monitor. Per ora ci si divertono la mamma e il papa' a parlare da una stanza all'altra :-) Grazie nonna Kay!!

Yesterday we received Philips AVENT SCD520 DECT Baby Monitor with Temperature Sensor present of grandma Kay. It's beautiful, it has got 5 lullabies we can choose from, the night light, it tells us the temperature of the room and we can talk to the baby from another room. For now mummy and daddy are having fun with it talking from one room to the other :-) Thanks Grandma!!

39 weeks, one week to go!!!

Oggi sono entrata alla 39esima settimana, solo una settimana alla data prevista per il parto. Ho avuto il secondo monitoraggio oggi e allo studio tutti mi hanno detto che la pancia e' cresciuta tantissimo rispetto alla scorsa settimana. Durante il monitoraggio e' stata registrata una contrazione abbastanza forte percio' la ginecologa ha detto che devo tornare martedi' sera. Ho registrato il battito del cuore, sembra un cavallo al galoppo, anzi di corsa ma e' semplicemente il cuoricino di Chloe :-)

Today I start 39 weeks, just one week to go. I had the second monitoring this morning and everybody at the doctor said my belly was huge compare to the week before. During the monitoring they register a quiet strong contraction, so they want to see me again next Tuesday. I recorded the heart beat, it's sounds like an horse but it's Chloe's heart :-)

Prenotata la prima vacanza come famiglia :-)

Oggi ho prenotato la nostra prima vacanza a 3 + 1. L'uno ovviamente e' Poldo!!

Dal 23 luglio al 26 agosto spenderemo le vacanza in Sardegna, ci godremo il bel mare e sole. Sara' la prima volta per la nostra topolina, son sicura che verra' stra coccolata e viziata da tutti!!

Non siamo ancora sicuri se mentre siamo in Sardegna facciamo un salto a Londra, dobbiamo vedere i costi e la situazione economica, ovviamente. Comunque sarebbe bello portare la piccola a Londra e inoltre anche noi e' da tanto che non andiamo, vedremo!!

Today I booked our first holiday as a family of 3 + 1. The 1 is Poldo!!

From the 23rd of July till the 26th of August we are going to spend our holiday in Sardinia, we are going to enjoy the sea and the sunshine there. For our little one is gonna be the first time and I am sure everybody is going to spoil her!!

We are not sure yet if we can manage to go to London also for few days, from Sardinia. It will be nice to take Chloe to London and also we have been away from London for too long. We'll see!!

Pancia dura/ Hard belly

E' da ieri che la pancia si e' indurita come un sasso, spaventoso. Ho passato la giornata cercando di non pensarci, la sera avevo un senso di pesantezza, la bimba sembra muoversi meno, e' come se non avesse piu' spazio.

Dicono che la pancia dura sia il segno che l'utero si stia contraendo e fortunatamente io non sento nessun dolore, diciamo che siamo in fase di preparazione, ma ancora potrebbe passare del tempo. La pancia dura e' assocciata a delle perdite bianche che non sono sicura si tratti del tappo. Mah, non mi resta che aspettare !!

Since yesterday my belly is hard like a stone, scary!! I spent all day ignoring this fact, in the evening I felt heavy, it seems also that the baby is moving less, it's like the space isn't enough for her to move.

They say the symptom of hard belly is caused by the uterus contractions and luckily I don't feel anything, lets say we are getting ready, but it can pass quiet long time before she decides to come out :-)

The hard belly comes with some white discharge, all is a good sign, but we just have to wait!!
